How do I convert a bank statement to OFX?
Short answer
Convert your statement, then Export → Xero to download an .ofx file. OFX is the standard banking format that Xero and most accounting tools import.
OFX (Open Financial Exchange) is the common interchange format for bank data. StatementFlow generates a valid .ofx from any statement — choose Export → Xero, which produces the OFX file.
Import it into Xero, Sage, MYOB, Zoho Books, or any other tool that reads OFX. For QuickBooks specifically, the .qbo (Web Connect) variant reconciles more cleanly.
