Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StatementFlow (the "Service"), operated from Warsaw, Poland. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

StatementFlow extracts transaction data from bank statements you upload (PDF, scan, or photo) and lets you export it to formats such as Excel, CSV, QBO, and OFX. Extraction is performed by automated systems, including AI models.

3. Accuracy — please read

Automated extraction is not perfect. Output may contain errors, omissions, or misread figures. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying every result before relying on it, especially for accounting, tax, legal, or financial decisions. The Service is provided as a tool to save you time, not as professional financial, accounting, or legal advice.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to upload only statements you own or are authorized to process, and not to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• upload another person's financial documents without authorization;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• resell or redistribute the Service except as expressly permitted (e.g. via an offered API plan).

6. Plans, billing & cancellation

The Service offers a permanent free tier and paid subscriptions (Pro and Business), billed monthly or annually through our payment processor, Stripe. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Page quotas reset each billing period and do not roll over.

You can cancel anytime from your account's billing portal. On cancellation, your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period; we do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods unless required by law. We will never charge your card without your explicit action.

7. Your data & privacy

Uploaded files are processed in memory and are never stored. For logged-in users, only the extracted table (not the original file) is saved to your history, and you can delete it or your account at any time. See our Privacy Promise for details. You retain all rights to your data; you grant us only the limited rights needed to provide the Service to you.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your data), is owned by StatementFlow and protected by applicable laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that extracted data will be complete or correct.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StatementFlow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on extracted data. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
