Our privacy promise
The promise in plain English
Most tools ask you to trust them with your bank statement and bury the details in a legal document. We do the opposite: the short version is at the top, and it's the whole truth. Your file exists only for the few seconds it takes to read it.
What we process
To convert a statement, we read the file you upload — the transactions, dates, amounts, and balances on it. That extraction happens in memory, and the file itself is never retained.
If you're signed in, we save the conversion to your history so you can re-export it later without uploading again. That record holds the conversion's details (file name, bank, page and row counts, date) and the extracted table itself — the rows we read off your statement. It never includes the original file. Delete any conversion, or your whole account, and that record goes with it. Convert without an account and nothing is saved at all.
Retention & deletion
- The uploaded file is held only in memory during processing.
- It is deleted immediately when your download completes, or within minutes if you leave.
- It is never written to disk and never included in backups.
- Converted output is streamed to you. A signed-in account keeps its own copy of the extracted table in history, under your control, until you delete it.
What we never do
- We never sell or share your data with third parties or data brokers.
- We never build spending profiles or analyse your transactions for marketing.
- We never use your statements to train models.
- We never require an account to convert a statement.
Security
All uploads use TLS in transit — the same standard banks use. Processing runs in an isolated environment with no human access to your file's contents.
Your rights
You can delete your account and its conversion history at any time from your account settings. Because we don't store the statements themselves, there is nothing else to erase. Questions? Reach us on the contact page.
