How do I upload a bank statement to QuickBooks Online?
Convert the PDF, then Export → QuickBooks for a .qbo file. In QuickBooks Online go to Transactions → Bank transactions → Upload from file and select it.
When your bank has no direct feed — or the feed only reaches back 90 days — a .qbo file is the cleanest way to get older history into QuickBooks Online. Convert your statement in StatementFlow, review it, and choose Export → QuickBooks.
In QuickBooks Online: Transactions → Bank transactions → Upload from file, select the .qbo, map it to the right account, and confirm. The transactions land in For review for you to categorise and match.
Using the installed desktop app instead? See importing into QuickBooks Desktop — both share the same .qbo export, reconciled against the running balance before you download it.
