How do I import a bank statement into QuickBooks Desktop?
Convert the PDF, then Export → QuickBooks to get a .qbo (Web Connect) file. In QuickBooks Desktop go to File → Utilities → Import → Web Connect Files and select it.
QuickBooks Desktop imports bank data through .qbo Web Connect files. Upload your statement to StatementFlow, review the transactions, then choose Export → QuickBooks to build a valid .qbo.
In QuickBooks Desktop: File → Utilities → Import → Web Connect Files, pick the .qbo, and choose the account to import into. Desktop reads the dates, amounts, and descriptions and lines them up in the bank feed for you to add or match.
On the cloud version the steps differ slightly — see uploading to QuickBooks Online. Curious what the file actually is? See what is a QBO file.
